What Data We Collect, and Why
When you contact us
The website's contact form collects the following information: your first and last name, your email address, your phone number, the planned date of your event, the type of request, and the message you provide.
- Purpose: to respond to your request, assess whether we can assist you, and prepare for our first discussion.
- Legal basis: your consent, as evidenced by your voluntary submission of the form, and the performance of precontractual measures taken at your request.
- Retention period: three years from the date of our last communication, provided no contractual relationship is established. This period corresponds to the maximum allowed by the CNIL for marketing to individuals.
When you schedule an appointment
Appointments are scheduled using the Calendly tool, which collects your name, email address, and the time slot you select. The interview can be conducted via video conference using Google Meet or Zoom.
- Purpose: To organize and conduct the introductory interview.
- Legal basis: your consent and the performance of precontractual measures.
- Duration: Same as that of the contact form.
When you become a customer
The data required to organize your event is retained for the duration of our collaboration and then archived in accordance with legal requirements—specifically, for ten years in the case of accounting records, pursuant to Article L.123-22 of the Commercial Code.
A customer portal is available at client.vmcom.fr. It is operated on our behalf by WeddingPlan and allows you to track your project, view your documents, and communicate with us. It has its own terms of use.
When you browse the website
Subject to your consent, which is obtained through the banner displayed when you arrive on the site, we collect browsing data: pages viewed, duration of visit, referral source, device type, and IP address.
- Purpose: To measure website traffic, understand what interests our visitors, improve our content, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.
- Legal basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Duration: The trackers installed have a maximum lifespan of thirteen months, and the data they generate is retained for no more than twenty-five months, in accordance with the CNIL’s recommendation.

When you subscribe to our communications
If you provide us with your email address to receive our content, we will use it to send it to you.
- Legal basis: your prior consent, in accordance with Article L.34-5 of the French Postal and Electronic Communications Code.
- Duration: Same as for prospect records, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.

Who Has Access to Your Data
Your data is not sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
They are available to the company's two managers and, if applicable, to the individuals working on your project.

Transfers Outside the European Union
Some of these service providers, as well as the audience measurement and advertising providers listed in our cookie policy, are based in the United States.
